The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E turns any power outlet into a fast and secure Gigabit network connection. With Gigabit Powerline up to 1,200 Mbit/s and the latest 2 x 2 MIMO technology, significantly more stable connections, a larger range, and higher throughput are achieved. In addition, the device offers a WiFi AC+N access point with up to 1266 MBit/s for wireless connection of smartphones, tablets, and notebooks to the home network. In this way, the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E enables demanding broadband applications in every corner of your home.

Gigabit class Powerline
The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E reliably connects network devices such as computers, televisions, or game consoles via ultra-fast Gigabit LAN, even over long distances. With the network connection via the power cable, long distances and obstacles such as walls and ceilings are overcome in no time. Compared to Powerline adapters of the 500- and 200Mbit/s class, the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E enables significantly more transmission capacity and more robust connections - and with higher energy efficiency. This allows multiple demanding broadband applications to be used simultaneously.

Fast WLAN AC+N
The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E extends the WiFi of the home network at Gigabit speed. This allows the WiFi network to be easily, securely, and flexibly accessible even in rooms far from the router. The device is prepared for Mesh WiFi of an installed FRITZ!Box. With maximum security through WPA2 encryption, easy connection of WiFi devices via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), and data speeds up to 866 MBit/s (WiFi AC) + 400 MBit/s (WiFi N), the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E offers a lot of convenience and flexibility for wireless surfing.

Powerful 2x2 MIMO technology
The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E is ideal for broadband-intensive network applications, such as transmitting HD videos (also in 3D) and fast internet access, online gaming, web TV, NAS connection, and video on demand. Even large distances between devices do not affect the quality of the transmission. The 2x2 MIMO technology allows, thanks to the simultaneous use of two wire pairs, an up to 60% larger range in the power grid. If these wire pairs cannot be used simultaneously, the automatic selection of the wire pair with the best transmission quality (diversity) ensures robust Powerline transmission.

Simple and secure from the factory
Unique to FRITZ!Powerline products is the individual encryption from the factory, which enables immediate, secure commissioning. The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E is simply plugged into the power outlet at the desired location and connected to the device to be connected. Then the adapter is securely added to the existing Powerline network at the push of a button. The connection is established with individual AES 128-bit encryption (plug and play). The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E is compatible with current devices of the 1,200-, 500- and 200Mbit/s class. Updates are easily installed via the FRITZ!Powerline program or via the FRITZ!Box user interface.
